Nintendo Wii
So I caved in. I ordered a Wii. Now I really hope it arrives soon
I don’t expect to see it until next year though, but still, at least I’m on the list to receive one now.

Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time (PIT).
I bought this game last month (mentioned here). I was really psyched about it, being the sequel to Mario & Luigi: The Superstar Saga (TSS) and on Nintendo DS.
I completed the game last night, having spent approx. 21 hours on it. The gameplay has changed since TSS, mostly for the better, except for this annoying robot/suitcast called “Stuffwell”. Sometimes he acts as catalyst to advance the story — fair enough. But I really hate the way he pops up at all puzzle-like encounters to give hints. No not hints, the SOLUTION! It makes the game far to easy. Of improvements, I’d like to mention that “bros attacks” have been replaced by “bros items” and I think it works really well/ Also, the fact that one controls four persons instead of two gives some changes to the kind of puzzles presented. But not as much as I had hoped.
Overall conclusion: PIT improves the gameplay in certain areas over TSS, but the story and humor is IMHO better in TSS than PIT. It seems as if PIT is made for a somewhat younger audience than TSS. Not that PIT is a bad game, I enjoyed playing it, it is just that TSS is better.

Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time
I finally caved in and bought the Mario & Luigi: Partners in time for the DS, the successor to the immensely sweet Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for the GBA. I can’t wait to actually play it

Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Finally! I reached level 10 with two of my CO’s in Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Giving that the amount of time I spend on gaming has declined drastically since the completion of my studies at Daimi, I feel that this is quite an accomplishment
