Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
It’s been a long time coming, but I finally read a non-work related book! Having read all the predecessors to this one, it seemed only natural to actually read it some time
I liked it, but I felt that Rowling didn’t know what leg to stand on wrt. magic and love.
*SPOILER WARNING if you read more!*

Burgess: Hadets By
I finished reading Burges: Hadets By and it was quite a read. Melvin Burgess is described as a children’s books author, however, Hadets By (Bloodtide in english) is not suited for underage kids, that is for sure. The very elaborate gore is proof of this.
It is a futuristic book based on an Icelandic saga — adopted for a futuristic London, where the government has abandoned the city and left control of the city to the gangs. Eventually only two gang-lords fight it out, Volson and Conor. The story follows the events of Volsons children, especially the twins, Signy and Siggy.
I found the book very entertaining and a captive read, albeit a bit short. I was recommended it by my girlfriend and I can only recommend it.

The Chronicles of Narnia
My girlfriend talked highly of The Chronicles of Narnia — A book containing all the Narnia related books by C.S. Lewis. So I bought it as a Christmas present a few years back. She was delighted. I, however, never got around to reading it. Until about a fourthnight ago where I took the time to start reading it. The fact that the movie Narnia — The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe opened in theaters last monday have also made me want to read it. And I actually read the chronicle on which the movie is based before watching the Narnia movie. That was nice.
